The darkest mental state of my life started in late 2015 and to be honest, I’m still recovering from it as of late 2021. Depression took hold of my life and it almost got the best of me, but thankfully I’m still here today. I wasn’t able to write for a really long time, let alone make music. Through the trials and tribulations of all I’ve personally been through, I gathered the strength and made these songs which tells the tale of the darkest years of my life (without getting TOO incredibly personal. The good stuff is for my therapist, ha). This album is 6 years in the making. It’s everything I have. This is me exhaling after everything, hoping to see better days ahead. I love you all. Rugrat started in 2010 with hopes of making "Rugrat Presents: The Curse: 2010". After realizing that title had far too many colons, I scrapped it and began working on Demon Llama, the first album in this decade+ long love affair with music.
